A series of installations at cyclist traffic lights around a busy roundabout in Utrecht, Netherlands. More and More I see traffic is biased around automobiles, resulting in longer waiting times for cyclists and pedestrians. This interventions provides a playful intermezzo while waiting; ‘time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time’.
The installations are based on the concept of ‘upcycling’, using only found material from the surrounding area. This way I aim to create a ripple effect questioning peoples ideas of where you play, and with what.
